Underworld 3?

SciFi Wire had a chance to talk with Len Wiseman, the dude behind UNDERWORLD: EVOLUTION, about his upcoming flick and what upcoming project he has instore. And it looks like another sequel to UNDERWORLD is at the top of his list!


Of course UNDERWORLD: EVOLUTION hasn’t hit theaters yet, and won’t be doing so until the end of next month, but that’s neither here nor there. These guys smell a hit on their hand, so no wonder they’re thinking ahead of their future and the like. Here’s what Wiseman and his cronies have been up to:


“We sort of mapped out an entire history and story that we then went into and decided which … one will embody the first film, second film, third film. … What it is, more so than three scripts, it is a massive collection of ideas and stories that we’re putting out at certain times.”


Hopefully EVOLUTION is a hit enough to flesh out the final installment of this trilogy- and hopefully they can pull it off. Massive collections of ideas can either make the creative process flourish, or it can piss it all away into a heap of dog doo-doo.
