Well, it looks like we've now got a fairly good idea of the plot for the upcoming INCREDIBLE HULK reboot. A lot of people are calling this merely a synopsis, but I'm of the opinion that this is quite a bit more. So if you're averse to SPOILERS, then I suggest you look away now!
The explosive, action-packed adventure in one of the all-time most popular superhero sagas unfolds with a cure in reach for the world’s most primal force of fury: “The Incredible Hulk.” We find scientist Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) living in shadows, scouring the planet for an antidote. But the warmongers who dream of abusing his powers won’t leave him alone, nor will his need to be with the only woman he has ever loved, Betty Ross (Liv Tyler).
Upon returning to civilization, our brilliant doctor is ruthlessly pursued by The Abomination (Tim Roth)–a nightmarish beast of pure adrenaline and aggression whose powers match The Hulk’s own. A fight of comic-book proportions ensues as Banner must call upon the hero within to rescue New York City from total destruction. And on June 13, 2008…one scientist must make an agonizing final choice–accept a peaceful life as Bruce Banner or the creature he could permanently become: The Incredible Hulk.
Gee, I wonder which he'll choose.
Still, sounds good to me. Cool, Oscar-worthy star? Check. Hot chick? Check. Good director? Hmm... Perhaps not. Still, BATMAN BEGINS only ticked two boxes (I can't refer to Katie Holmes as a hot chick, sorry) and that movie is incredible. I'm quietly confident about this thing. Although does telling the world you're 'quietly confident' negate the 'quietly'? Who cares, right? Just no CGI dogs, please!

I DISAGREE...
at least partially with the uncertainty about the director. I don't think that Letterier is the most consistent director, but he can make great films. I think that UNLEASHED is a great film. KISS OF THE DRAGON and THE TRANSPORTER were cool but mediocre. Here's hoping... And both Norton AND Roth are Oscar-caliber actors, so again... hoping. |

You know that last sentence almost makes it sound like he could live a peaceful life as Bruce banner or live a peaceful life as The Hulk. |

Man, you never miss a chance to a throw in a dig at "Batman Begins", no matter how small.

How is this more than a SYNOPSIS ?? Thats all it is, if you know what a synopsis is.
Well it sounds pretty much like anything we've heard before about teh plot of the film, nothing new. |

BRING ON THE HARMONICA DUDE
A good cast, so... why not. I never liked the first Hulk, since he was too big. Like an oversized cave troll. Now, cast Rick Jones, dammit! |

Question--How exactly do you "Spoil" a plotline that goes something like Hulk and Abomination beat the hell out of each other and everything around them? I'm not complaining, but who wouldn't figure that out before they see the movie? Oh yeah, its in New York. OHHHH! Don't worry, I won't say a word about it.. Shhhhh. |

I actually enjoyed Hulk for what it turned out to be, and though the action saved the movie alot, and I loved the dogs!
This sounds like it could turn out to be a nifty film though so will be keeping tabs! |
