Update: So, yeah, I'm an idiot and confused Ridley with his brother Tony. Fortunately, I changed the article so it makes just a little less sense.

Ridley Scott pic Tony Scott fans have recently been divided into two factions - those who like his new style and frenetic pace and those who don't. What does this have to do with his brother Ridley, which is who this article is about? Um, nothing. Ridley, though, has recently come aboard two projects which are both set in the Middle East and which both are collaborations with Scott's producing partner Donald De Line and novelist Scott Ignatius. First, Warner Bros. has acquired the rights to Ignatius' PENETRATION, which follows a CIA operative attempting to capture a high-ranking terrorist in Jordan, and is looking to make it a directing vehicle for Scott. Second, he's signed on to direct THE INVISIBLE WORLD, which centers on the abduction of a female journalist in Iraq, for Paramount based on a treatment by Ignatius and a script by Dana Stevens (LIFE OR SOMETHING LIKE IT). He's hoping to shoot INVISIBLE WORLD in Morocco either late this year or early next year.

oops...
Yikes, that's a doozy of a mistake I made there. No more glue-sniffing for me. I updated the article, though, if that makes you want to kill me any less, William.

Hey Rosario, have you ever heard of a little movie called "Alien"? Or how about maybe "Gladiator" -- ever hear of that? Or maybe "Black Hawk Down" or "Legend" or "Blade Runner". Guess what, man -- those are ALL Ridley Scott films, and no one can say they're plain and boring!

Hey! I can't even read this article past the first sentence. OMAR AVILES, Tony (not Ridley) Scott is the one that has developed the new frenetic style. Ridley is still as plain and boring as always.

Frenetic Pace?
I don't remember Ridley's past films having a frenetic pace. Maybe I wasn't paying attention.

yeah ..
i think it's fair to say that should Tim Curry come back and if Tom Cruise comes out of the closet , Scott should definitely push for LEGEND II .
