Rambo 4 a go?
Either Sylvester Stallone is feeling a little too nostalgic or he thinks the only way he can make money is to make sequels to the franchises that made him a star
because he's apparently looking to shoot RAMBO IV immediately following work on ROCKY 6. He's quoted in "Variety" as saying:
"It'll be back to back. After I am done with Rocky, I'll go straight with Rambo."
They apparently also mention that there's presently no director attached but Stallone would likely end up writing and directing himself. While this isn't downright terrible news (hey, if the guy wants to make a sequel, why not?), what angle is he going with for the RAMBO sequel? He's already doing the pseudo-biographical "washed-up middle-aged veteran who wants to prove to the world he's still got it" angle with ROCKY. Will that be the overriding theme in RAMBO too? Or will it be a balls out action flick? Can he still even do a balls out action flick? If there's one thing nobody wants to see, it's his balls, that's for sure. What do you guys think about this? You wanna see Stallone become Rambo again?

C'mon, man. Let us remember Rambo for what he was -- a muscle bound dynamo that could kill an entire army by himself. Not a geriatric who runs out of breath walking up a hill...

"Rambo 2" was the best, in my opinion. Thanx in no short part to the script being co-written by James Cameron. It's not a masterpiece, except by the standards of '80s action flicks.
