I've been stoked about ULTRAVIOLET for quite a few weeks now (read: months), and now that we're only about two weeks away from its opening (March 3rd), I'm more than happy to announce an exclusive clip from the film for JoBlo.com readers only. Below is a 30-second sequence from the movie featuring none other than lead Milla Jovovich, also known as Violet in the flick, taking part in what I like to refer to as "the kicking of ass". In the clip, she actually uses a sword a la Bride from KILL BILL to do the ass-kicking in question, and needless to say, she stands tall and others tumble around her. Check it out and get excited.

Equlibrium sucked (or wasnt that good) and this one will suck (or wont be good) too.
I just realized Milla looks similar to the new actress in Alias, doesnt she? (I like the alias one better though)

Nothing ULTRA about that dialogue
Looks like this is going to be like Equlibrium...one or two cool fighting sequences...and a lot of bad dialogue. Still Im sure it will prove to be mild and mindless entertainment.

SAW AN EARLY CUT
Let me first preface this by saying I am a HUGE fan of Equilibrium, so I was looking forward to this movie. All I can saw after seeing an early cut is that it's a huge letdown. The action is cool, but once someone opens their mouth to "act" it's laughable.

It looks sweet in an "underworld" kinda way. Yes, it is the same concept as Resident Evil, yes, it looks like Kill Bill, but heck. its a movie people! only a movie.

I dig it.
At first I was skeptical about Ultraviolet but after a bit of thinking I just decided what the hell, it could be fun. It looks less lifeless and banal that Catwoman or Aeon Flux, and the action sequences look promising. I'm looking forward to it.

I *heart* Milla
Sorry Guys but I just love Milla. and i just love watching her kick some ass because she's so good at it. Did I mention I love Milla! belive me my husband will tell you. Oh and by the way over at moviehotties.com, I can't belive she doesn't have her own page over there!!!!!! I mean she does show a bit of skin in just about every movie she's been in. I'm sure this one will be no exception.

I very much doubt it will compare to Equilibrium, but at least it's better than watching Bush bashing, transexual, pro-gay propoganda films all the time. Some light relief is always welcome.

This movie is such a joke it's funny...
Look at the comparisons of this to Resident Evil 2:
1)Same company
2)Same actress
3)Same plot involving genetic enhancement to the leading character by a virus
4)Same trailer opening line
