William H. Macy has joined the cast of the comedy WILD HOGS. He'll star alongside John Travolta, Martin Lawrence and Tim Allen as a bunch of middle-aged suburban
biker "wannabes" who set off on presumably the biking adventure of a lifetime but end up encountering real Hells Angels' bikers. Needless to say, rollicking and
biker-related shenanigans ensue as the middle-aged suburbanites attempt to go toe-to-toe with the original biker gang. Production is set to start next month in New
Mexico with Walt Becker (VAN WILDER) directing. Call me crazy but this concept coupled with these actors actually sounds promising. Macy displayed some serious
comedy chops in STATE AND MAIN and to a lesser (or greater depending on what you think) extent, FARGO, and throwing him into this unique and seemingly
precarious situation with Travolta, Lawrence and Allen seems like it could work relatively well. In any case, check out Macy next in the comedy THANK YOU FOR SMOKING and in Emilio Estevez' pseudo-biopic BOBBY.
