Strike Back below!
by: JoBlo May. 2, 2006

Update: Oddly enough, Disney doesn't seem to have announced an official link to the POTC2 trailer yet, but we've found a few mirror sites including HERE, HERE, HEREand HERE. Enjoy. Good shit.

Thanks to 'bluealbow4eva' for the head's up on the first full-blown (and kickass) trailer for PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MAN'S CHEST -- that Davey Jones dude creeps the shit out of me! Hopefully, we'll have a few other links for you today, but for now, HERE'S the only place that you seem to be able to check it out, and it took me about 30 minutes to see download it all, so something tells me that that site will crash pretty soon. Hopefully, Disney will make the trailer available elsewhere as the day progresses. Until then, try your best and check out the ultra-cool screencaps below as well. Yo-ho-ho, a pirate's life for me...

Now THAT'S going to be a fun summer flick.

"There will come a moment when you have to choose to do the right thing."

"I love those moments---I love to wave to them as they pass by!"

That's awesome!!

Holy Sh*t! I can't say I enjoyed the first installment--I thought it ran on far too long--but this one looks like a winner. Someone over on the Superman trailer comments said that there wasn't a moment in that film's trailer that really grabbed them. I saw at least five or six things in this trailer that squeezed my nuts harder than a French prostitute on a Friday night. Three words:

From someone who didn't enjoy the first one I gotta say that this one has me salivating. A trailer that makes you smile is a good trailer indeed, maybe the Superman team should've hired the house who produced this one...it'd do them some good...

Haha, I'm stoked. This looks really good. I remember going into the original with some friends and thinking, ok this is lame, it's a Disney movie, wtf am I doing here? Then by the time the end credits rolled, I really felt like I watched a very fun and entertaining movie. I'm more stoked to see this than Superman outta the recent trailers that hit. Go Cap Sparrow!

The fact that Disney does not post an official version and at the same is allowing all these mirrors to stay up makes me think this was leaked on purpose to drum up excitement.

This looks freaking awesome. It reminds me of reading pirate books when I was a kid, except that back then the movies couldn't compare to the imagination. This looks like it can.

Well ...

Could this be- summer a sequel that actually out-does the original? From the looks of this trailer, I'M SO THERE!!!
