UPDATE: If anyone is having trouble viewing the clip at 3D Blasphemy or would just like to watch it as a YouTube embedded file instead of downloading it, it's up in that format over here at AwesomeBomb.com. Thanks a lot to 'Dan' for the heads up.

autobotsNow, I do have some Transformers footage here but, before anyone wets themself for naught, let it be known that this is NOT footage of any kind from the upcoming Michael Bay flick. No, although this might be worth letting a little go in your shorts. It's a personal work from the website of a 3-D design company called 3D Blasphemy. It looks damn cool. I say 'looks' because, after downloading it, I'm having some trouble playing it on my computer. That shouldn't stop you from trying it, though, because, if you look here (the page that also contains the download link at the bottom), you can see from stills that it does indeed look damn cool. The clip certainly serves both as a means to get one pumped for the theatrical TRANSFORMERS coming next summer and as an imagination-sparker as to what Bay, Spielberg, and co. might do with the movie. The main 3D Blasphemy site is worth checking out, as well. You can check out, amongst other things, more pieces, including a 3-D rendered still of Yoda.

If you can't get enough of all things Transformers, check out IESB's video interview with X-MEN and TRANSFORMERS producer Tom DeSanto from the 32nd Annual Saturn Awards. DeSanto discusses things on and off the topic of the movie, but it's to note that he goes record saying he is in support of using the original "Transformers" vocal talent.

Daaaaamn
That has to be the coolest Transformers bit since the Citroen C4 commercial. Awesome. If this could be done on limited resources, just imagine what they could do in a Michael Bay-budgeted film...
