Strike Back below!

Saw 3 Lionsgate recently went ahead and released the official plot for their upcoming horror sequel SAW III and it goes a little something like this:

Jigsaw has disappeared.

With his new apprentice Amanda (Shawnee Smith), the puppet-master behind the cruel, intricate games that have terrified a community and baffled police has once again eluded capture and vanished. While city detectives scramble to locate him, Doctor Lynn Denlon (Bahar Soomekh) is unaware that she is about to become the latest pawn on his vicious chessboard.

One night, after finishing a shift at her hospital, Lynn is kidnapped and taken to an abandoned warehouse where she meets Jigsaw (Tobin Bell), bedridden and on the verge of death. She is told that she must keep the madman alive for as long as it takes Jeff (Angus Macfayden), another of his victims, to complete a game of his own. Racing against the ticking clock of Jigsaw's own heartbeat, Lynn and Jeff struggle to make it through each of their vicious tests, unaware that he has a much bigger plan for both of them…

Wow, that sounds…complicated. Which is expected. Any thoughts? Strike a little sumthin' back, why dontcha? SAW III opens October 27th.

hard to say, after improving the idea of the first movie in the second movie the 3rd would be hard, but it isn't all that bad as it could of been. It still could be better though

Well
Well, maybe this one won't suck...but why try and make something better when audiences will swallow it warts and all?

Well, it's not ripping off another horror movie *cough*Cube*cough*, and this plot actually sounds pretty intriguing. I'm game!

Now bring on the unrated special edition of SAW II on DVD!!!

Intriguing plot. Looks like they managed to keep the Saw series fresh on their third outing.

Sounds interesting. It seems a little rushed, but everyone seems behind it, so I expect a good movie.
