Director Michel Gondry's follow-up to his highly-acclaimed film THE ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND is something called THE SCIENCE OF SLEEP starring Gael García Bernal and Charlotte Gainsbourg. SLEEP was one of the few films that I missed while at the Cannes Film Festival, but not for a lack of trying, as both screenings that I attended were full. The film opens in the States on August 4th, and today, Warner Independent Pictures was cool enough to present JoBlo.com readers with the exclusive first look at the film's creative poster. What's the movie about? Hard to explain, but basically it's a "... playful romantic fantasy set inside the topsy-turvy brain of Stephane Miroux (Bernal) an eccentric young man whose dreams constantly invade his waking life." Basically, it's some cool f*cked up shit.
