Strike Back below!

We've been lucky enough to receive some pretty sweet accolades from the media over the years, and even cooler at times, accolades from actual writers, directors and actors working in Hollywood (just check out our ticker tape above), but today's nod from "Entertainment Weekly" magazine, is one of the more impressive ones that I've experienced, if only because I've been reading that magazine since before I started this website, and to be named among the TOP 25 ENTERTAINMENT WEBSITES by them is a pretty damn cool honor, if I say so myself. Sniff, sniff...I'm all veklempt and shit now. To see their entire list of sites, CLICK HERE, and at the same time you can check out the 3 website picks that each of the top 25 chosen sites picked as their faves on the Net, and from the ones I submitted, EW chose the great Dark Horizons, RogerEbert.com (natch) and SimplyScripts.com.

I wish they would have included the very awesome Rotten Tomatoes in there as well, but alas, you can't have it all. The issue of "Entertainment Weekly" that includes this list is on newsstands today and features a certain superhero dude on the cover. And as per usual, thanks to all of our readers for continuing to make our site so popular. We have a VERY COOL addition coming to the site by the end of this summer that will hopefully add to your enjoyment of our movie musings. Up, up and awaaay....!!

But I totally with Entertainment Weekly, and beeing a reader of said magazine, I couldn't help but being a little proud of having included the best movie site on the net. Congrats.

Who would have thunk it? I'm not on as much as I used to be, mostly because they blocked the message boards at work, but JoBlo is by far my favorite movie scoop site.

I have a subscription to EW, and I received and read this week's issue earlier today. When I came across the "Top 25 Entertainment Websites" page, I thought to myself: "EW better have Joblo in their top 25." I was very happy to see the site on the list. Just another thing that makes me damn proud to be a loyal schmoe.

BTW - Joblo, I'm glad you gave a shout-out to Dark Horizons. G...

And here i thought , you and Arrow getting drunk with Sam Jackson feet away was the high point , you outdid yourselves again . Those nachos , hookers , and copious amounts of beer are really paying off , not to mention you're obsession with movies . Keep it up bro . One thing though , better watch what i say now , this site is getting too much attention , don't want to offend any of the bigwigs...

Hehehe...dude, I had NO IDEA what it meant either, but when I checked out its meaning on the Internet, I was like "Yeah, that sounds like us!" (especially the drinking part)
