Update: We noted a couple of new 300 posters on the Con floor today, and you can check them both out below.

I wasn't able to check out the 300 panel this morning (f*ck you, man, I ain't waking up at 9am in the morning on a Saturday, especially after a late Friday evening -- read: hookers), but the Arrow did and according to my man, the teaser for the film, to be released on March 16, 2007, blew him away. In fact, I quote, "That teaser f*ckin' blew me away, dude!". Yeah. Anyway, we also got a nice shot of the cool teaser poster for the film on the convention floor. Check it out below...cool shit.

If this is one of many huge bad guys the Spartans will fight, I'm so game. Even if that's a good, yet crazy to the point of restraints, Spartan, this movie looks to deliver more than I imagined. Bring on the trailer!

The Graphic Novel Is Awesome...
I've read 300 at least half a dozen times and i'm more than a little confused by the poster. Everything i've read about this production so far has suggested that it will retain a lot of what made the book so special and certainly the visuals that i've seen thus far have hinted that the end product should be a remarkably faithful adaptation. Being as familiar with the book as I am i'm drawing ...

Being as familiar with the book as I am i'm drawing a complete blank on where the hall the rather feral looking bald dude factors into it. I still have high hopes for this though. I loved Dawn Of The Dead and think that Zack Snyder has not only the balls but, more importantly, the talent to produce something quite remarkable here. And Arrow loved the teaser. The dude knows his shit so that fact alone confirms that my anticipation isn't misspent.

I'm don't doubt the movie will be interesting to say the least.....but what or who exactly is that??! and what's it got to do with the topic....I don't mind some artistic freedom on history but this looks like some kind of mutant from the hills have eyes....
