The Fountain The release date for Daren Aronofsky's THE FOUNTAIN has changed more times than Paris Hilton's changed Greek shipping heirs (well, maybe not that much). The last release date was October 13th and now according to Box Office Mojo, that's recently been changed to November 22nd. Who knows if they'll actually keep this release date and let us actually see the damn movie. Maybe the film is like a unicorn and that's why the release date's been changed so much. It's mythical and awe-inspiring but it cannot be contained by a mere single release date. It must have many release dates over many years to truly do the film justice. Thanks to Arthur for the heads up.

This Better Be Released Wide!
This looks like a really unique film, so they better not put it on a limited release. A Scanner Darkly was a pretty sweet film, one of the better surprises of the summer, and they totally shafted like 40% of the population, to give Little Man and Accepted wide releases? A Scanner Darkly was a pretty sweet film, one of the better surprises of the summer, and they totally shafted like 40% of the population, to give Little Man and Accepted wide releases? They seriously hate us, or just don't give a damn, but it's their loss because I downloaded it but didn't get the full animation effect I'm sure, so now I won't get to see it until the dvd, which I encourage everyone who likes it to buy brand new, so they realize how many people would have seen this and bring hope to other upcoming original films. Down with Limited! Or at least make shit like Little Man, Accepted, The Lake House, Madea's Family Reunion (we all know that BO gross was made in 5 cities anyways) and release them limited instead. No one would mind, Really.

I just want to see it already, but I guess its nice that Warner's is showing support enough to put it up against the big dogs.
