If you weren't stoked about Martin
Scorsese's THE
DEPARTED already, get ready to be extra-excited as folks who
have seen it, are saying that it's Scorsese's best film in years,
and that it goes back to his GOODFELLAS roots, which is one of my
favorite movies of all-time, so I'm excited! We'll be posting
interviews with the gang from the film in a few weeks, but before
then, check out the ultra-cool international posters that our Latin
buddies over at LatinoReview were able to snag.
I know I've said this before, but
I'll say it again: international posters generally KICK our domestic
posters' asses, and in this case, it totally applies! I think the
domestic DEPARTED posters are some of the weakest I've seen in
years, while the international one-sheets actually take advantage of
the star-power in the film, and even make it look grimy and
crime-ridden. What is that domestic THE DE-PART-ED shit all about?
Thumbs down. Anyway, click on the pics below for greater sizes and
more coolness. The film opens on October 6th.

Extra Tidbit:
Leonardo DiCaprio played the character of Luke Bower on TV's "Growing Pains" from 1991 to 1992. On a side-note, Alan Thicke composed and sang both theme songs for TV's "Different Strokes".
