RUN LOLA RUN director Tom Twyker's next film entitled PERFUME has been getting some sweet buzz for a while now, and with its December 27 release date still looming, Paramount was nice enough to toss us an exclusive creepy clip from the movie, which should give you an idea of what sort of film to expect. If I'm lucky, I might be able to catch the movie in the next couple of weeks, and I'm hoping that it will become one of my favorites of the year, next to instant classics such as V FOR VENDETTA, THE FOUNTAIN and PAN'S LABYRINTH (I haven't seen CHILDREN OF MEN yet, but hearing from those who have, that film is also an apparent gem). This looks awesome - very lush and pretty, almost luminous I think, but dark and intense at the same time. It's a really interesting dichotomy, somehow. This is the first clip I've seen outside of the trailer. I wish there were more because Dec. 27th is entirely too far away. I'm so curious to see what the whole of this film is going to look like. I too think it is going to be great.

Is already out here in Portugal and the press critics have been meh, but word of mouth from people who saw it is more positive.

Wonder if Paramount are aware that a very good copy has apparently spread over the net so my peeps tell me?! Love the style and colours, it has a real creepy yet poetic feel to it.

dig the atmosphere and vibe from that clip. hope twyker doesn't disappoint.

and I can picture the publicity meeting at Paramount...
