Van D. not in Rush

There'd been a rumor floating around that Jean-Claude Van Damme would be playing the main villain going up against Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker in the currently-filming RUSH HOUR 3. Most of us around JoBlo HQ were a little taken aback by the rumor but then immediately let out a "hells yeah, baby!!" because, let's face it, awesome. Just as we were settling into imagining all the glorious quips the Muscles from Brussels would share with Chan and Tucker, however, along comes Empire Online to kill our fun by informing us that Van Damme himself started the rumor. Apparently, he was joking around about palying the main bad guy in the film during some interview and that was in turn reported as fact and thus, a false rumor was born. Bummer.
