Poltergeist redux?
Surprise, surprise, there's another horror remake in the works. Don't tell me you didn't see this one coming. The folks over at Bloody Disgusting are reporting that the previously mentioned sequel POLTERGEIST: KAYERI is being retooled
into a straight-up near frame-for-frame remake of the seminal 1982 Steven Spielberg-written and Tobe Hooper-directed film. The film originally told the story of a family who
are initially amused then slowly terrorized by a swarm of ghosts in their house and it seems like that's just about what we can expect from this remake. The original was
also more than just a haunted house tale - it was a really goddamn scary haunted house tale that took you in directions you never expected at all. Let's hope
they at least do that justice. What do you guys think?

No more remakes. I can live with sequels.
