Interested in checking out a trailer for a movie called OUTLAW? The title admittedly has a simple, rugged je ne sais quoi but is ultimately too generic to sell you, you say? Then try on this plot synopsis: "A group of people who feel betrayed by their government and let down by their police force form a modern-day outlaw posse in order to right what they see as the wrongs of society." Did I just see a twitch in your pants? Ok, here it goes. What if I told you that this modern-day outlaw posse is led by Sean Bean? Ok, now hold it, hold it, go watch the TRAILER at the film's official website (by way of the folks at Solace in Cinema) and then release. According to several sources, the movie hits theaters in the UK on March 9th but unfortunately there is no US release date set as of yet. Also around in OUTLAW is Bob Hoskins for sex appeal.
Extra Tidbit:
Although the narrative for OUTLAW is fictional, writer/director Nick Love reportedly based the screenplay rather heavily on various newspaper stories and anecdotes he's heard and so many of the specific incidents in the film come from fact.
