Sin City 2 Frank Miller is all giddy in the pants about getting production started on SIN CITY 2. He tells Sci Fi Wire: "I'm hoping we'll start in late spring. It gets pretty hot in Austin, so there might be a summer's interruption there, but both Robert and I really want to be shooting this thing as soon as possible." You and me both, brother. Will it actually happen, though? Who knows. What we do know is that the film will be based on Miller's "A Dame To Kill For" graphic novel, a few "Blue Eyes" stories, an "Old Town Girls" story and a brand-spanking new tale in which devastatingly hot Nancy Callahan unleashes violent hell on some unsuspecting pansies. And probably on some suspecting pansies as well. After all, she's an equal opportunity killer. More specifically, though, Nancy's "in a very different, very scary role." Ooooh, count me in, baby.

Extra Tidbit: Of all the criminal organizations in the "Sin City" universe, The Wallenquist Organization seems to be the most peaceful and forgiving.

Did you ever watch the Dark Angel series? Alba kicked mucho ass and she made it look good.. I mean REALLY good, especially in the leather outfit she would wear :) Aside from her hotness, she did come off as tough in the series. I'm not for or against a new story line. The Fire Duece has it right ...
I completely agree with The Fire Duece ... I don't give a rat terd who is "worried" about the new story. That is Frank Miller's job and it is his story to subtract from or add to. Miller isn't worried about what I teach my 8th grade class and I'm not worried about what Frank Miller is going to write.

All that's been said officially about it was that it'd be a story about Nancy that took place after the events of That Yellow Bastard... Everything else was speculation. in fact, last I checked A Dame To Kill For was the only thing confirmed... But man I really hope they get this thing going this year.

All for new stories but...
This new story line worries me. Yeah it would be hot to watch Alba do some crazy shit like that... if I thought she could pull it off. Have you seen The Fantastic 4? Does she ever come off as tough in that movie? Nope... and I don't think she could ever play tough and play it well if her life depended on it. Yeah she's a smokin hottie with a great ass but she doesn't have the acting chops to go...

Yeah....
That whole "brand spankin' new" Nancy story just doesn't sound like a good idea. I mean, woo hoo she gets her revenge on the Rourkes for Hartigan's suicide. Biiiiig deal. I'm not too keen on the new story idea when there is a wealth of pre-existing stories that're just fine.
