In HOMO ERECTUS, writer/director Adam Rifkin (DETROIT ROCK CITY, SMALL SOLDIERS) plays a surprisingly articulate caveman who finds he wants more than the monotony of his daily life. It's by far one of the most bizarre films you're likely to come across this year and at this point, I'm not entirely sure what to make of it. It does get bonus points for featuring Ali Larter in a smoking hot cavewoman outfit and for allowing Gary Busey to be, well, Gary Busey. Check it out below and if it tickles your fancy, get more videos HERE. No release date is currently set.
Extra Tidbit:Rifkin also wrote the upcoming UNDERDOG adaptation.
This seems like a remake of Caveman starring none other than Ringo Star. Honestly caveman is good late night cable fair, but a retread. I don't know how much more Atouk the world needs.

It had me with the Conan music intro. I hope the rest of the movie is as funny as the trailer. Kinda of reminds me of that old Ringo Star caveman movie with Shelly Long that HBO played on a daily basis back in the ear...
