Kill Bill Bennett Walsh, an executive producer on Quentin Tarantino's yellow-jacketed revenge opus KILL BILL, mentioned at the recent Shanghai International Film Festival that the motor-mouthed auteur is looking to add a third and fourth volume to the franchise. He further elaborated that the third film would revolve around two guys unlucky enough to be on the receiving end of Uma Thurman's Hattori Hanzo exacting revenge on her and the fourth would center on daughters of The Bride's handiwork avenging their mothers. And though this all sounds nice and pretty in theory, let's face it, it ain't happening. Or at least is a far ways off. Tarantino's been talking about sequels to KILL BILL since the film's release but he himself has said he'd like to wait ten or fifteen years before he revisits this franchise. Tarantino's a talker. It's what he does. He's also talked about a Vega Brother's movie, a World War 2 epic, and a GRINDHOUSE sequel. Until we get a Weinstein Co. press release saying that production's started on KILL BILL 3, let's not start jacking each other off just yet.

Extra Tidbit: Oh yeah, Tarantino's also talked about making a couple of KILL BILL anime prequels, one starring The Bride and another starring Bill (David Carradine).

Didn't Q talk about a sequel to KILL BILL right after it was released, specifically talking about her daughter fighting Vivica A Fox's daughter after that kid comes looking for The Bride for revenge?

In other words, isn't this breaking news about 4 years old?

And as far as talking about things, I'd much rather have a director talk about what they'd like to do befor...

I'm glad everyone finally realizes that Tarantino's mouth is actually an asshole leaking bullshit. I'm sure 60% of the movies he talks about making will never be made and the ones that do will be spaced about 15 years apart. So that gives him about 3 more movies to make before he's dead.

i think a prequel to kill bill would be better. let's find out how these characters were discovered, hired, and trained for their specialties. let's see some of their specialties while carrying out their assassin jobs. we know quite a bit about oren but not a whole lot about the rest.

as for the vega brothers("double v vega"), as per quentin on the opie and anthony radio show, i...

as for the vega brothers("double v vega"), as per quentin on the opie and anthony radio show, it won't happen. he claims the actors will be too old for the type of movie he was looking to do. he is working on the wwII movie script right now. i think he'll do a hell of a job with that genre. i hope something comes of that.

Yeah, it'll be called "Kill Bill Volumes 3 & 4, The Vega Bros In Amsterdam vs. Adam Sandler and Eddie Murphy as WW2 pilots."

He was going to do the shaw brothers remake, an airplane disaster film, a vega brothers pic, sequels and prequels to kill bill, a cantonese martial arts film, inglorious bastards, casino royale, jason, etc...

um, whatever happened to rereleasing the movies as one long cut. or a special edition dvd done right. how about we get those first, then we'll talk about sequels... you know, after Inglorious Bastards and The Vega Brothers and Grindhouse II, etc etc etc ad nauseam.

Just because Bill is dead doesn't mean there can't be a sequel, it's just that they can't really call it Kill Bill Vol. 3.

I love Tarantino to death but he bites off way more than he can chew. And what daughters are there? Vernita's is the only one I could think of. Oren, Elle, and Budd don't have daughters and we all know who Bill's is. It just doesn't sound like there's enough material for two movies.

Yeah, ain't gonna happen. But it's cool that Tarantino admits himself that he's a talker. He said in one press conference during Grindhouse promoting that "I also said I'd like to do kung fu film and Kill Bill animes, but I haven't seen those yet. Have you?" or something like that.
