The difference between the marketing campaigns of this summer’s two biggest comic book movies (sorry HULK) is worlds apart. The TDK people are mailing out birthday cakes with cell phones baked into the middle, while the IRON MAN crew are really taking it to the next level by revealing stills every few weeks. Not only that, but they’re stills that look very similar. How many pictures have we already seen of Robert Downey Jr. in a white tank top working on parts of his suit. But the thirst for this film is so insatiable so it remains my duty to quench the iron lust of the hordes. Here are to new pics, one from the film and another behind-the-scenes shot of director Jon Favreau with his star. If you so choose, you can click to enlarge.

Extra Tidbit: Jon Favreau was originally going to direct CAPTAIN AMERICA as an action comedy for Marvel.

Is it possible to make a Captain America movie without indulging in some rather comic and/or dated and unbelievably hokey plot devices? I mean, hokey in comic book terms.
