Daniel-Day Lewis has been basking in showers of praise for his performance as Daniel Plainview in PTA's THERE WILL BE BLOOD. With all of DDL's recent press, I've seen more of the actual man than ever before, in interviews and acceptance speeches. And the more I see him, the harder it is for me to imagine this soft-spoken man as the demonic Plainview. What a transformation. But it turns out that DDL isn't the only Plainview out there, as I've come across this shocking video of David Spade, of all people, doing his best Plainview (or is it his best DDL doing Plainview?). But this time it's not oil Plainview covets, it's gold...
