UPDATE - Fox has asked that we remove the offending poster from our site. I instead bring you some pics from a completely different, yet entirely awesome, DRAGONBALL movie:
A camera phone looking image surfaced on the interwebs this weekend that appears to be the first poster for the upcoming actioner DRAGONBALL, the live action adaptation of the popular anime of the same name. Daphné was the first to alert us that she had it posted over at her fansite then schmoe extraordinaire Beech pointed us to THIS site, which also has it on full display. If it's indeed the teaser poster, it's expectedly bland with an expectedly generic tagline - "the legend comes to life in 2009". In it, young Goku (Justin Chatwin) is on a quest to reclaim the mythic "Dragonballs" before the villainous Lord Piccolo (James Marsters) gets his dirty paws on them and does crazy shit like take over the world. Extra Tidbit:
Ron Perlman had to turn down the role of Lord Piccolo since it clashed with HELLBOY II: THE GOLDEN ARMY.
