Texas Chainsaw poster!

This week is the week that New Line begins the promotions for its remake of TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE. The project caught a lot of heat when it was announced since the film is revered as a cult classic among fans who weren't eager to see the film tampered with by producer Michael Bay and a music-video director (Marcus Nispel). But now fanboys will have something substantial to fuel their anger or something to calm them down a bit. The 2:20 trailer for the film will be attached to BAD BOYS 2 this Friday and the poster will be hanging up in your theater lobbies. The film's official website, www.texaschainsawmovie.com, isn't up yet but should be by week's end and should have versions of the poster to download. For now, take a look at the teaser poster - which is REALLY a teaser in that it hardly shows anything - that Coming Soon! posted below. I personally think they should've used a replication of that iconic silhouette of Leatherface in the morning sun with his chainsaw raised up high, but that's just me. I wouldn't have even realized that was Leatherface if I didn't know better...Stay tuned for more on TEXAS CHAINSAW.
