Like the Spice Girls before them, burlesque dance group turned inexplicable pop music phenom The Pussycat Dolls are apparently considering taking their "act" to the next level by starring in an autobiographical film.

According to British gossip rag, The Daily Star, "PCD are getting a lot of film scripts to look through at the moment. It’s gonna be semi-biographical, about their rise to fame, with loads of dancing and singing.”

The group apparently wants the film to "inspire fans and give a positive message to girls.” Mediocre talent and a smoking hot ass you're willing to exploit will get you anywhere!! Girl power!

I enjoyed making fun of Spice World with friends. And caught myself laughing a few times at intentionally funny parts. These girls are no Spice Girls, but I'm willing to give them a chance. On DVD. Without paying. Maybe.

The middle gal is the only talented one.
I can't imagine there have been many that have ever seen the god-awful "Spice Girls" movie & it is a joke that these "TALENTED" ladies want to make a movie about themselves. *Snore* Honestly I think there has been some sort of incarnation (a la Menudo) of the Pussycat Dolls for about 10-15 years. Bratz 2: Older and Sluttier
I didn't know they were famous. I've heard of the band, but none of thier individual names. Didn't mariah carey try something like this with Glitter, and she's actually somewhat talented. Imagine how bad this will bomb.

Do young girls actually look up to these people? I fear for our future.

I have the June 1999 issue of Playboy with a 'Pussycat Dolls' pictorial but the group in the mag is some sort of Vegas show or something...are these the same people? It's been years since I knew a damn thing about pop culture.

1) So if it's based on their rise to fame, the entire movie is going to take place in the office of an Interscope A&R guy? Watching a record label assemble a "group" should be fascinating.

2) Didn't they already make a Bratz Dolls movie?

3) Like they said on SNL, "If you're a mediocre singer, only know a few dance moves and are fairly attractive from a distance,...

The only talent and attraction here is Nicole as the other girls are really interchangeable.

Wouldn't really call them famous or even semi-famous. This will be another crappy film!

This is going to be great! What are you guys so upset about. It's going to be like a cinimax skinflick movie! They say this is for young girls, but it's really for older guys, no question. They should set it in space or put lots of explosions in it and it'll make 50 million. Swear to God.
