Sick of all those preachy celebrities telling you to go out and vote? Well they finally got the message and a group of celebrities - Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Aniston, Jonah Hill and Sarah Silverman among them - are asking you to NOT vote. As Jonah puts it, "I've never fought a war on drugs. I haven't done shit on drugs except play 'Halo 2.'" Well said, my man. So what spurned Leo to beg you to stay home and be lazy and Sarah to talk about herpes? You'll have to see for yourself...

George Carlin had an interesting take on this:
"I believe if you vote you have no right to complain. People like to twist that around...they say if you don't vote you don't have a right to complain...but where is the logic in that? If you vote, and you elect dishonest, incompetent people and they get into office and screw everything up...well you are responsible for everything they have done...you caused the problem...you voted them in...you have no right to complain. I, on the other hand, who did not vote, who, in fact, did not even leave the house on election day, am in no way responsible for what these people have done and have every right to complain as loud as I want about the mess you created that I had nothing to do with."
It really scares me that there are people who will watch this video and vote. I'm sorry, but I can say with a lot of certainty that 99% of the celebrities in that video are liberals and the vote they're trying to get is for Obama. If they were true to just "getting people involved" you'd have other celebrities such as Sly Stallone, Clint Eastwood, Dennis Miller, James Woods, Jon Cryer, and Stephen Baldwin in the video, all who support McCain. This is a farce. They are targeting young people, who most will tilt Democratic and see the younger, "sexy" candidate Obama and vote for him.
Yeah, I'm voting for McCain. However, I have no problem with people that are voting for Obama, as long as they are informed and know the reasons that they believe he will improve America(other than "change" and "hope"). I feel the same way for McCain supporters. I know that voting is one of our basic rights, however it does really scare the hell out of me that there are people that don't know anything about what's going on and believe they "have to vote." Some people have no business voting.
