Spider-Man 2 site live!
Sony has opened up the SPIDER-MAN 2 website today, finally switching over from the site that was still dedicated to the first film. The site was launched this morning with a whole new setup but unfortunately, still relatively lax on any juicy features. There are still some things to check out though, including a new Peter Parker wallpaper (using the shot to the right), screensavers and a buddy icons. If you look closely, behind the film's logo on the top there's a new image of Spidey that appears as if it might be from a new teaser poster. You may need to refresh your browser a few times though cause the image seems to change every time you reload. There's also a fan-art section, the Daily Bugle news section and a cast/crew information section that, if you look, has shots from the film of each of the major characters. Before you get too excited though, they're just shots of their heads and don't reveal much of anything at all. In fact the synopsis of the film doesn't even reveal much but promises to expand more this October to include the history of Doc Ock. And curiously enough, I've noticed lately that they've all but done away with Dr. Octopus and are just calling him Doc Ock. Which is fine but I always thought that was something of a goofy nickname, while Dr. Octopus was a little more menacing. Plus when you put Doc and Ock together it looks like docock. Do cock. No thanks... Check out the the updated SPIDER-MAN 2 site here.
