If ever there was an actor built for a Tim Burton movie not named Johnny Depp, his name is Crispin Glover. The eccentric actor/artist/filmmaker has finally been cast in his first Burton film with ALICE IN WONDERLAND. Why it took the two mavericks so long to collaborate is beyond me but with Glover set to play The Knave of Hearts in Burton's re-telling of the classic children's tale, millions of eccentrics are rejoicing world over.
In the story, the Knave of Hearts is put on trial for stealing the Queen of Hearts' tarts and is defended by Alice, who is being played by newcomer Mia Wasikowska. Other cast members include Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter.
