It's a film that has done nothing but rack up the rave reviews since it premiered at the Venice Film Festival. Whether it be kudos for star Mickey Rourke or director Darren Aronofsky, people just can't get enough of THE WRESTLER. Finally, we the people get a glimpse of the film as Fox Searchlight has released the trailer. It will be in theaters with MILK but you don't have to wait that long - you can watch it right now. And while we're at it, how good is that Bruce Springsteen song? Just fits perfectly...

Great trailer. Love the Springsteen song, took me a bit to recognise his voice, thought it was Jacob Dylan from the Wallflowers at first.

I saw The Wrestler at TIFF and I have to agree with another poster on here. The trailer looks good, but does not do the film justice at all.

Wow, this looks incredible. I loved the Fountain and Pi, but I wasn't a fan of Requiem. I am definitely on board for this, though. That shot with Rourke and his daughter totally sold it..

I was kinda doubtful of Aronofsky after the fountain... it just wasn't all that great (and I'm probably one of two people on here who think so). Up until now, I have enjoyed watching Aronofsky's style for entertainment value, but that was the only thing present in his films: style. But with this film, it looks as if he's mastered his skills, he's able to say "been there, done that, it was all g...

I like the look of this film, and the performances look spectacular. Rourke, Tomei and Wood in the same picture... you just cant go wrong.

I'll definitely be there opening night.

Not a huge fan of Rourke or Aronofsky either, I wouldn't pay to see this. Let's see what happens come Oscar time.

At long last! This trailer is great and I agree that the song choice fits well. This movie is looking good, first with the buzz and now the trailer...it's official, I'm so there.

I agree that the trailer definitely had a different feel than I thought it would, but that is in no way a bad thing. Arronfsky could shoot a film that was nothing but a rock sitting in dirt and it would be phenomenal!

Amazing Trailer, but...
This trailer is amazing, but I saw the movie at the Chicago Film Festval, and it doesn't do the film justice. The movie is that good.

now, I hate to shit on anyones parade.. because this movie does look excellent, and Rourke does look outstanding.... but isn't anybody feeling like this is Rourke playing Rourke?

He's playing someone who's washed up and past his prime, and then giving it one last heroic shot.

Other then that it looks oustanding and epic... Aronofsky continues stomping all over Ho...
