Today we have two new pictures from PUBLIC ENEMIES, the Michael Mann helmed, Christian Bale, Johnny Depp flick. In the movie, Bale's FBI agent Melvin Purvis tries to take down Depp's John Dillinger and his crew, Pretty Boy Floyd and Baby Face Nelson. Billy Crudup co-stars as J. Edgar Hoover. Check the pics out BELOW.

And to be honest, these pictures are pretty underwhelming. For something starring Bale and Depp these images somehow slapped logic in the face and made it look bland. I can only assume they were taken with a camera made entirely out of boners. That's the only way any of this would make sense.

Crudup as Hoover??

I'll be honest, as much as I love all the actors in this thing, I'm a bit iffy, because they're playing real people, and Depp, at least, doesn't to me look like Dillinger.

I had the same problem. But if you are using FireFox download the add-on "AdArt". It blocks most advertisements or replaces them with artwork. I never get those Flash pop-up ads anymore.

Alright you people really need to lighten up on the advertisements on your website. My eyes are getting raped with the ammount of ads and popups. I can't even visit your site anymore.

Dorff is creepy.
My cousin is a bartender in Wisconsin where they were filming at one point. She never got to meet Depp or Bale, but she served Stephen Dorff and someone gave him her cell number. Apparently he's a bit on the creepy/stalker side.

This flick was shot around my hometown in Wisconsin! Which was probably the coolest thing to ever happen to my hometown. Alas, I did not get to meet Johnny Depp or Christian Bale.

EXTRA TIDBIT: Willem Dafoe and Gene Wilder are from Wisconsin.
