Bell joins rom com

Under-appreciated hottie Lake Bell, along with Hunter Parrish and Zoe Kazan, will be joining Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin in writer/director Nancy Meyer's as yet untitled romantic comedy. In the film, Streep plays a divorced woman apparently torn between her ex-husband, played by Baldwin, and a male friend, played by Martin. Needless to say, she ends up falling in love with one of them and living happily ever after. Because that's what people in mainstream romantic comedies do. Parrish plays Streep's soon to be college graduate son with Kazan playing her daughter. Bell will play Baldwin's baby crazy new, young wife. Bell was most recently in the cop drama PRIDE AND GLORY and can next be seen in the dramedy BURNING PALMS and the delightfully titled comedy A GOOD OLD FASHIONED ORGY.
