To anyone who thought Sylvester Stallone was sitting at home drinking prune juice and watching old episodes of "Murder She Wrote" at the age of 62, you're wrong. The dude is ripped. He's ripped like a Hulkamania t-shirt. This is the man in action as he prepares to shoot THE EXPENDABLES in about a week. Those would be the temporary tattoos he had added on for his character. And I'm not exactly sure what happened to his belly button. Did he have it sewed shut? And good lord, is it just me or is he popping more veins than a porn star's dick? Of course I kid because I love Sly. Also because even at 62 he could punch a hole straight through my face. You can click on the pic below to see a bigger version at Ain't It Cool...

but come on now, look at his bell button, this guy DEF got some plastic surgery around his body. no doubt. this makes him in Rocky Balboa look like shit. theres no way he hasn't had work done. i wouldn't be surprised if the reason for those tattoos is simply to cover up scarring. his chest look better than mine and im 20 lol.

but i aint complaining or anything, they did an amazi...

Last time I checked he was admittedly using HGH. He said something along the lines of "I'm not exactly competing in the olympics, so who cares if I'm juicing". I honestly don't blame him, he's not an athlete, he's an actor, let him juice if he wants to.

I can't even imagine the workouts and diet he must go through. Its hard enough to look like that in your twenties let alone 62! Amazing. Hopefully the guys not a crippled heap when hes 80 though.

I read something a while back where Stallone said that he abused his body so much throughout his career that he's held together by glue. And that the stuff he took helps thicken the bones and reinforces the tendons.

And when you think about it, the dude IS in his 60's. So while he may be built like a brick house, I imagine you'd have to take something so your muscles don't rip ...

Hope this movie delivers
Rocky Balboa and Rambo were pleasant surprises. Predictable yet highly enjoyable and straightforward. And I think of all things they displayed an undeniable improvement regarding Sly's abilities as a writer and director. I truly hope that movie will be ace, even if I'm a bit anxious. I hope he won't make it a gimmicky "World's Finest" with lame one-liners delivered by former action stars. I kno...

Once he's done with action roles, I can totally see an Eastwood-like career as a director. And why not another oscar down the line. Sly may have disappointed, he might be drinking other things than raw eggs, I don't care. The man truly earned his newfound place after years of shitty flicks.

This flick is gonna have some cool characters. Character's development has always been Sly's writing strong suit.

And Jesus, he's def a different kind of ripped up than he was in RAMBO and Rocky Balboa, which just goes to show you, it's all about development.

I hope this movie has some serious, serious HARD R flagrantly tattooed all over it, too.

It's not all about steroids
Taking steroids does not get you this big, theres the hard part of getting to the gym. He must work out 3 hours a day, that is hardcore. I work out about an hour a day 5 days a week just to stay in shape.
