Five new teaser posters for GI JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA hit the web today and they show off Duke, Ripcord, Snake Eyes, Scarlett and The Baroness. They're good but they didn't really try to do anything out of their comfort zone with these. Look tough, wear black, brandish a weapon and that's about that. While I think Rachel Nichols as Scarlett is fulfilling just about every childhood dream I had, I still can't wait to get a shot of Joseph Gordon-Levitt. They're keeping that close to the vest, but I'm hoping for a reveal soon. Check out the posters below!

And oh yeah, I'm not saying the ten years advance is a bad idea, I'm just saying that I really, REALLY hope to recognize the characters when they're on screen, and there won't be any kinda thing to explain it away if we can't. Like, there was an uproar when the X-Men had their all-black suits instead of what they wore in the comic, but when all was said and done, you could still recognize them, because they had other physical traits to distinguish them by. But the Joes seem more ordinary, and might not stand out without their trademark outfits... I dunno, maybe I'm wrong about that. It's still POSSIBLE the movie won't suck, but I'll be surprised if it doesn't... pleasantly surprised, but still surprised. lol.
By the way, sorry for being a bit abrasive in that last post; I was in a real foul mood when I wrote... still am! lol. But not because of this, just a bad day... still no excuse to be an ass, though, so... sorry 'bout that, Niro929.
