Disney's reimagining of THE SORCERER'S APPRENTICE starring Nic Cage and Jay Baruchel has started filming in New York City and, as you might imagine, it didn't take long for the paparazzi to track down the production and take a few shots of Nic and Jay in character. I'll show you these photos but I'm telling you now, if I hear any "raping my childhood" crap, I'm gonna reach through the computer screen and smack you across the head. This movie has nothing to do with the Mickey Mouse cartoon. The story is a German poem written by Goethe. Get that in your head now and you'll be OK. Cage is obviously going for some geriatric type Criss Angel for his Sorcerer and is staying away from the blue robes and white stars.
