One of the hottest actors in Hollywood just got one of the hottest actresses on his side. Megan Fox has signed on to star alongside Mickey Rourke in the upcoming indie drama PASSION PLAYS. The Hollywood Reporter describes the film thusly: Rourke will play a down-on-his-heels trumpet player, and Fox will play an angel in 1950s Los Angeles, with Rourke finding redemption in Fox after he attempts to save her from a gangster.
Doesn't sound all that exciting to me but it's a pretty good cast. Writer Mitch Glazer (SCROOGED, THE RECRUIT) will be making his directorial debut with the project. Fox can be seen next in TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN and is about to begin filming on JONAH HEX later this summer. Rourke is rehearsing for his role as the villain in IRON MAN 2.
