The trailer for THE GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE, Steven Soderbergh's call-girl flick, has hit, and you can check it out BELOW. The film recounts five days in the life of Chelsea (adult film star Sasha Grey), an ultra high-end Manhattan call girl who offers more than sex to her clients, but companionship and conversation – “the girlfriend experience.” And even though things seem to be going swimmingly, in that business, you never know who you're gonna meet...

The project was made with mostly non-"name" actors, but I have to assume Charlie Sheen was hired as an adviser on the project, given that he has banged more prostitutes than a dude with three dicks and a magic pot of money.

Extra Tidbit: Are you guys digging Soderbergh right now?

She'll get a nom for an indy spirit award.
She'll at least get a nom for an independent spirit award...we'll see where it goes from there.

Love The Risk
I am a huge Steven Soderbergh fan, mostly because I love the risks he takes when making films like this or Bubble or Solaris (which had Clooney). I also really like how makes very stylish mainstream films and then makes smaller more indie things like this, on top of producing films he believes in. While not always good, at least he's taking risks and doing what he loves.
