When the bootleg for this trailer popped up online the other day, it gave me a little chill of excitement at the end. At that was a shitty copy of a crooked camcorder recording of the trailer. THIS is the real deal. So you'll pardon me if my pants just got a little tighter. Yup, it's the TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN trailer.

This film looks like pure summer movie spectacle the likes of which we haven't seen since...well, I guess since THE DARK KNIGHT. But there was something dark (for obvious lack of a better word) about TDK. This just seems like balls-out popcorn fun. On one hand, I'm truly pumped for this movie because it looks awesome and on the other hand, I'm pumped for it because it makes me feel like a kid again. It makes me feel like that time I waited almost two hours to get into a screening of GHOSTBUSTERS. Yes the overemoting Bumblebee is a little weird but, c'mon, Devastator?? Enough rambling. I'm sick to death of these summer blockbuster trailers. It's getting too expensive. Every time I watch them it's another load of washing my wife has to do. I mean laundry detergent doesn't grow on trees. Holly shit, Guess I'll just have to watch them naked. sigh.

on screen? Looks better than the avereage Bay movie, because he realized that he can't handle human emotions and storys. So maybe he should stick to giant robots.This is big and noisy and over the top. But to me it's still just a DVD-Rental...

That has to be one of the most EPIC trailers ever!! how anyone cant be f***ing wet after watching that is not real! this is the biggest and most awesome blockbuster ever made and its my childhood dreams come true 10 times over. I will be seeing this at the cinema everyday when its released.

The Dark Knight is nothing compared to this. Sure, it was the better movie overall. But T2 is the better popcorn blockbuster BY FAR. These are visual orgasms every single frame!
Every single frame looks like a postcard... That's what movie theaters were build for.

yeah i mean michael bay might not know how to make a quality flick but dude this is transformers...a fuckin 80s kid's cartoon show (and without mentioning toy, comic, other merchandise) about giant fuckin robots fighting. quality is not needed for such a film only fuckin B.A. explosive fight scenes, and bay in my opinion is definitely one of the best (if not the best currently) director of sup...

So I said I would take pictures of the costumed kids at the screening in the last post about this trailer. I went to the screening, and saw this awesome trailer, but there was only one person in a costume, and that one person worked for the screening company. So no pictures. I drove 2 goddamn hours to see this trailer last night.

Not much is gonna stop me from seeing it, but is it bad that I'm more excited for G.I. Joe. Yep, pretty sure that's bad. I'm betting terminator is gonna take home the summer gold in terms of quality.
