Cooper not in A-Team?

IESB broke the story recently that they had heard Bradley Cooper was going to play Faceman in Joe Carnahan's THE A-TEAM MOVIE, and that when they called him on it, he confirmed this by saying "Oh, that's out already?"

However, maybe just calm down on that front for a minute. CHUD got the chance to clarify things a little with Cooper, who told them:

"A guy came up to me and asked about the character Faceman in The A-Team. I said 'Oh, that's out there already?', but my point was that news about the film is out there. Literally that people knew about Carnahan and the remake, that's it. I haven't read a script or met Joe Carnahan."

It could just be him backpedaling, but really it could be anything. So there's that. I guess only time will tell. And other stock, gneric phrases that are applicable here.

I personally think Michael Weatherley (Denozzo from NCIS) would be a great Face in The A-team. He practically IS Face in NCIS anyway.

I hope he is in it. I too saw The Hangover last night, and he is hilarious in it. Everyone was hilarious in that movie though.

I think Cooper has some serious potential. the guy has charisma. But I've read about 15 articles about him this week on the internet and they were all about how he is NOT in some movie. It seems this guy has more rumored roles than actual roles right now.
