Is it me or does this chick sound like shes an inch from being a burnt out pornstar and or crackhead?

It's awesome if she really likes the films she lists.
But it all just looks so fake, and its nothing to do with her being in Porn, the very films she lists, or being female; from the very start she's clearly glancing down at something, the way she speaks at times, it's as if someone is prompting her.

I've read a few interviews with her and she sounds quite interesting, her love for Criterion DVD, etc, but she never really has anything in depth to say about the films she likes, or good reasons why.
Naming Escape as her favourite film because she had a crush on Snake Plisken is a bit naff, lets be honest; it's not exactly the kind of thing a true movie buff would say, but rather the kind of thing you would imagine Paris Hilton saying.

Go back and do a little research on the girl - she's waaay into foreign films and avante garde... It's part of the reason Soderbergh cast her, apparently. They could talk art flicks together.

Anyway. Saw the film on Amazon On Demand. Not great, but not bad. It didn't require a whole lot from her personally, but then again, it can be very difficult for a person to "not act" in som...

i think the whole "looking down" was her doing her little drum roll thing and not her looking at a list...hmm not sure why ppl think the list is bs... i dont think i could talk about films like that i really didnt feel were that great. *shrugs* I only really only recognized #1 but thats jus me.

I honestly think that list was total BS except for #1. She proly just came up with other films she saw that she felt were very artistic pieces that would make her sound like a huge film buff.

I watched The Girlfriend Experience like 3 or 4 days ago. I really liked it, though it is a bit confusing. The narrative takes place over the span of 5 days, but it jumps all over the place so that it seems like everything is happening at the same time. It offers a great juxtaposition between these two differe...
Her top 5 was filled with a lot of interesting and diverse films.

I watched The Girlfriend Experience like 3 or 4 days ago. I really liked it, though it is a bit confusing. The narrative takes place over the span of 5 days, but it jumps all over the place so that it seems like everything is happening at the same time. It offers a great juxtaposition between these two different people who are romantically linked and their extremely different financial situations and how that affects the lives they live.

It was a brilliant film about the effect of economics on a person's life. Definitely recommend it if you don't mind a disjointed narrative.

Oh, and the ending is unbelievably creepy.

Not that she didn't like the movies, but it's like if you asked me to write a thought out article versus asked me on the street and got my gut reaction, you'll get two different lists. Escape From new York seemed like the one she truly thought and asked herself, "what's my fave film?" She seemed muc...
