Michael Moore's latest
The last time I so much as mentioned Michael Moore on this site, I was greeted with a vitriolic resentment unseen since the days of The Third Reich. Do you guys hate left wing propagandists or fat people? I can't decide. Either way, Michael Moore is going to continue making movies, and people are going to continue to talk about them, which I guess is ultimately the point. Recently USA today premiered the first image from Moore's latest documentary (?) about the economic crisis and greed-infested Wall Street. Check out what Moore had to say about the film, and the image itself below.
The movie is not going to be an economics lesson; it's going to be more like a vampire movie. Instead of the main characters feasting on the blood of their victims, they feast on the money. And they never seem to get enough of it.

Extra Tidbit: It's nice to see that Michael Moore is trying out some different visual techniques this time around.

Micheal Moores films ARE propaganda and he does use shady film making to get his point across. Not always good...but he DOES get the point across. All his films have been about important subjects Americans need to address. Face it rednecks...your time in the USA is over!

Moore is one of the few documentarians who knows how to take civics and turn it into something that's entertaining and accessible to the masses.

His films aren't pure documentaries but they are thought-provoking and can get people talking about a certain issue that otherwise wouldn't have gotten attention. He's a sensationalist, and I hate that but he does represent balance in the sense that we have both extremes.

Come on, Daniel Barma, if you're seriously surprised by how people react to Moore, then you're pretty damn naive. Any polarizing political figure is going to get that kind of angry reaction. If you ran a story about Rush Limbaugh or Ann Coulter, you would've gotten the same kind of reaction reaction, just from the other side.

I realized what a hypocritical douchebag he was when he interviewed Canadians on health care, and added snide commentary and camera time about the fact they ordered onion rings. I certainly am against the monsters he's taking on, but there's an element of showmanship and disingenuousness about him. I don't think its always been there - but I think its getting worse.
