Here is some art from last year's Crazy 4 Cult show, in case you missed it. This year's show, which showcases the movie-inspired art of 100 artists will run from July 16th to August 8th.

Admittedly, these aren't all cool. But there are definitely enough in there to make you happy. I'm not sure where people got the kind of creativity or artistic talent to do shit like this but where was I when they were handing that stuff out? My mom always tells me that I should be grateful I am so handsome and charming, but that's all well and good when I'm trying to hook up with supermodels, but what about when I want to draw a nice picture? And also, I have a feeling she may be somewhat biased in her assessments.

Jim, the article as originally posted linked only to the blog from last year. A new introductory paragraph was added between the time I posted and you replied. If you don't believe me, that's fine, I'm not offended. I expect it was updated once the information was brought to the site's attention.

As it is, what I've posted is no less true - this has been running a couple of years, and certainly isn't news.

If any of you are interested in learning more about the previous shows, Kevin Smith has been a fixture at these the last two go-rounds, so his website still has the threads dedicated to them. Some very nice work.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention Thoo, I hadn't seen these.

A lot of them are super/awesomely creepy, and a few of them made me laugh out loud.

All of the artists have ridiculous talent.
