DORIAN GRAY For a movie that's gonna be released in September (at least in the UK - the 18th, to be exact), it's a little surprising that the right-pictured poster is the first real media we've seen so far. It's the first real anything we've seen so far, actually, aside from a couple of promo shots that are basically the same picture without all the pretty words. All we know is that former Narnian prince Ben Barnes stars as the titular Dorian Gray who goes on a hedonistic spree when he manages to transfer his aging to a portrait of himself while he remains youthful and immortal. Colin Firth, Rachel Hurd-Wood, Rebecca Hall, and Ben Chaplin co-star. Click on Gray's red scarf to check out the pic big-sized courtesy of the folks over at "Bad Taste".

Extra Tidbit: DORIAN GRAY director Olive Parker also directed AN IDEAL HUSBAND and THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST.

I was really excited to see this movie, I was reading the book when they made the announcement and it sounded perfect! But this poster makes it look like a fucking Sweeney Todd sequel. And I hate hate HATE that movie....

I really hope they don't fuck it up like the poster implies!

Agreeing with luke319, Rebecca Hall is very appealing and Parker's last two films were good for what they were. Rupert Everett was fun in both of his movies. Colin Firth was no slouch in "Importance of Being..." either.

Rebecca Hall is super smoking hot. Also Parker's past films have been pretty decent.

This is probably Ben Barnes' chance to prove he can last in the industry. He once said 'if the name of the character I play isn't in the title than the film is not for me', if he continues to have that attitude and not really dedicate himself to characters in the way that he should, he won't be lasting very long at all;)
