Today we have a pretty cool teaser poster for DAYBREAKERS, a vampire flick starring Ethan Hawke and Willem Dafoe. Plot: In the year 2019, a plague has transformed most every human into vampires. Faced with a dwindling blood supply, the fractured dominant race plots their survival; meanwhile, a researcher works with a covert band of vamps on a way to save humankind.



It's great that we have a new vampire flick coming out, isn't it? I don't know, it's such a shame that we don't have more of those things.

first off, that poster is pretty fucking sick. who knows about the formula plot movie though.

secondly, walter, if you're going to bash hollywood and its integrity, have the nards to bash dafoe and hawke as well. they joined the project.

who knows, maybe there's more beneath the surface.

Seriously, how many fucking variations can you put on this plotline? Further proof of Hollywood's "sure thing" stature. What a bunch of shit man. Where the hell is the integrity? It really is pointless for me to post this because it falls on deaf ears but Christ is this exhausting. It hurts me physically to read stuff like this. No doubt about it, what this town needs is a motherfucking enema. ...

This poster is NOT kinda' like 30 Days Of Night. It practically IS 30 Days Of Night only its plot was taken off I Am Legend + 28 Days Later. Really, there has GOT to be more unique vampire tales out there and I'm NOT refering to Twilight or New Moon or whatever. I'm talking about decent, frightening vampire flicks in which the bloodsuckers DO NOT play baseball in the thunder and live in glass h...

That sounds so familiar, like the exact plot to The Last Man On Earth. Is it possible to find an original idea? How many vampire/zombie movies can possibly be made every single year?
