Remember that douchebag King Richard who kind of dominated the Third Crusade and became known as Richard The Lionheart because of it? Neither do I. Regardless, Danny Huston, he of "son of John Huston" fame has been cast as the legendary king in Ridley Scott's upcoming ROBIN HOOD. As we all know, Russell Crowe is starring as the prince of thieves and Cate Blanchett is playing his beloved Maid Marian. The picture has been under a lot of scrutiny since it's inception, but the addition of a high calibre actor like Huston can't hurt. He's kind of in the same category as let's say Ray Winstone, in that he's not necessarily a leading man, but he stars in some kick-ass films, THE CONSTANT GARDENER, CHILDREN OF MEN, and the upcoming EDGE OF DARKNESS among them.

I banged an Ex once
we got back together as a result, then got engaged, then broke up! But the sex was GREAT! Tell your buddy to wash his hands & floss when he's done. Danny was great in 30 Days of Night. Didn't think too much of his take on Stryker in Wolverine though. This should be a good role for him.

Huston.
Danny's a fantastic actor (I even have ivansxtc on my iPod), but lately I've seen him in more and more underwritten villain or "we need a bastard for five minutes of screentime" roles. I'd like to see him in something that challenges him a bit more. Regardless, the idea of him in a Ridley Scott film sounds promising.
