The official site for the lateral sequel anthology film NEW YORK, I LOVE YOU recently surfaced on the nets and with it is a brand spanking new trailer.
The film connects several different love stories and stars a seriously impressive roster of actors including Andy Garcia, Christina Ricci, Ethan Hawke, John Hurt, Natalie Portman, Orlando Bloom and about fifty or so others. Each segment was directed by a different director, including Mira Nair, Portman, Brett Ratner and about ten more.

to me, there's nothing THAT special about new york (at least not enough to say I HEART NEW YORK... like those godawful tourist mugs and t-shirts), and love IN new york is nothing special either as the majority of romantic comedies churned out by hollywood are, too, set in new york... which is also very strange because i dont find most of new york to be particularly lovely at all.
that said, i'll probably end up seeing this anyway. im a sucker for natalie portman. but the trailer annoys the hell out of me.

And the trailer is just sad. Kind of embarrassing .
