Strike Back below!

Quentin Tarantino has been making the rounds promoting his now-unleashed WWII opus INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS, but is generally only granted a few minutes of talk time at most opportunities. And while the effusive filmmaker can cram a lot of chatter into a brief period, he recently sat down (but not still) for nearly an hour with veteran interviewer Charlie Rose to discuss all things Basterdly.

The video is (or should be) online RIGHT HERE, or can be download directly from HERE (thank you FiOS).

You can also check out QT's past interviews with Rose (and chart his amorphous hair) going back to '94 and PULP FICTION.

Source: Charlie Rose

Extra Tidbit: Rose is notorious for interrupting interviewees (Christopher Guest once compared him to McCarthy).

It's reasons like this i check Joblo every day. Thanks! This was a hell of a great thing to watch. I'm a huge fan of the film. It was cool to see QT's angle on the feed back in the interview.

Damn Good Interview
I really enjoyed that interview. He spoke on the criticisms of IB, and Caradine's death, his dislike of bio-pics, interesting stuff there. Also, I never really thought about it, but I agree that writer/directors have it a bit tougher than regular directors. However, I think it be nice if Tarantino directed some scripts that were not written by him, just once in once in a while. Oh well. Looking...
