Alright, I'm going to have to go ahead and preface this with a big 'ol SPOILERS label concerning the original WANTED. Got it? Good.

So as most of us know, at the end of WANTED, Angelina Jolie’s Fox took and incredibly curved bullet to the skull. Now, that might be enough to kill off a normal character, but when you’re making a sequel, you kind of want the world’s hottest actress back on board. Director Timur Bekmambetov has been racking his brain to come up with a way to resurrect her, and he thinks he’s just about solved the riddle of the how and why.

"If you remember from the first film, we have a recovery room with the baths of wax....We know how to do this, but it's still tough to do, because the bullet is inside her head.

"But there has to be a reason for her to come back... and we know the reason," he added. "I think we found the reason for her to come back." The filmmaker said the story behind her return from the dead still trumps all other elements, but "we are trying hard...She was kind of... dead."

Look, am I the only one who honestly couldn’t give a shit how she comes back? Are we forgetting that this is the world of WANTED, where you can spin bullets in circles, blow up buildings with rats and have Fate communicate its wishes to you with a loom? They could strike her body with lightning, harvest her DNA to clone her or yes, leave her in a wax vat for a few months, and after she springs to life I don’t think anyone’s going to be crying out “that’s not realistic!”

Extra Tidbit: When people asked me what a good movie to see was last summer, I told them to watch the first half of HANCOCK, then leave in time for the second half of WANTED.

Angelina Jolie's character was killed, if you bring her back, it wont make sense. If you put another actress in her spot, you are either taking a bad sequel or a bad direct to DVD movie...just leave the movie alone.

Boo! 1st film overrated garbage
Except for some of the cool visuals & some that sucked too, train crash anyone? I'll stick to Temur's Nightwatch & Daywatch, still waiting for Duskwatch. This was a huge waste of talent, it will continue to be a waste of it.

I don't care how much wax they stick her in it doesnt make sense. even for a film that throws out the rules of physics and biology. bring in someone else, jennifer garner. moon bloodgood or somethin.

weird i rewatched Wanted a few days ago and spoke to someone about how they are making a sequel and want Jolie back, and they asked how? and i literally said "the recovery room - wax bath" and its actually being written in the story woooo :)

Love the extra tidbit. Kinda disappointed with the middle of 2nd and 3rd act of Hancock. Wanted was okay.

despite all the potential and (slightly) cools effects and actions sequences, WANTED was a pretty dumb movie. Not even Angelina's bare (too thin) naked ass could keep mine in the seat. I walked out halfway through, rented it to give it another chance and realized after finishing it that i was right to walk out the first time. Blah...

She was the weakest element of WANTED
I get that she's super-popular and all, but her performance was a flatline. The speech about her childhood was terribly executed, and she was wayyyy underweight and completely unattractive. I say, DON'T bring her into a sequel.

Wanted had the potential to be great but unfortunately was just mediocre , lazy and rushed. It was split with critics and fans.

good stuff
wanted was surprisingly good. with the right mixture of comedy and action.
sequels suck most of the time, but im hoping they get it right for this one.

...Wanted was a good movie. I liked the way the characters were spun. Do WHATEVER you can do to bring AJ back. There's LOTS of potential storylines. For example, the OTHER loom at the monastery (what was its purpose) Can/will Fox and Wesley ressurect the Frat? You can even expound on the time between Wesley at the ATM (after the mill explosions etc..)and when Sloan takes one to the 'ole melon. ...

I don't know about worst ever...
..but the first "Wanted" was an abysmal piece of shit, and Jolie is a godawful actress.

People label movies 'WORST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN' so easily. There are plenty of worse movies than that. Or maybe you've only seen three movies in your lifetime. Havent you all seen Transformers 2 ? Even that isnt the worst movie ever made. Wanted isnt that great, but its not that terrible.

No Bullet.
I hope she does come back. I honestly thought after the bullet went throught all those heads, it would have lost its velocity. Being the sad loser I am, I watched closely and I'm pretty sure you can see exit spray as she's falling, so no bullet i the head. Whatever!!, bring her back as a zombie and I'd be happy enough.

That resurrection idea works for me. I don't care how they do it, and it doesn't really have to make sense. Wanted was a very fun movie, with kick-ass action scenes, and Angelina Jolie. That's plenty of entertainment there for me.

Besides, most of the people on this planet are already dumb enough to believe that resurrection is actually possible, and happened before, to a dude n...
That resurrection idea works for me. I don't care how they do it, and it doesn't really have to make sense. Wanted was a very fun movie, with kick-ass action scenes, and Angelina Jolie. That's plenty of entertainment there for me.

Besides, most of the people on this planet are already dumb enough to believe that resurrection is actually possible, and happened before, to a dude named Jesus. Impossible, but makes for a good story.

Fat chance...
It was Angelina's idea in the first place to kill off her character at the end of the movie. She wouldn't sign onto the first movie unless that change was made to the script. I doubt he'll get her back...as much as I'd love to see her perfect ass all wet again. :-)
