If you somehow were able to avoid the 2012 onslaught on TV last night (something like 200 channels were airing the footage at the same time), we've got it for you below. While I missed the 2012 presentation at Comic-Con, I'm told this is the same footage.

It is pretty much what you'd expect from a Roland Emmerich movie preview. It's so over-the-top and ridiculous that you can't help but enjoy it. Now I'm not saying I will enjoy the movie, because the movie will be filled with all kinds of bullshit in between the shots of John Cusack outrunning an earthquake in his limo. But just the sheer spectacle of this is something to be seen. The movie? I'm guessing you might want to save your $10. Check out the clip below.

I hated ID4 for years...
... I thought, "This friggin' movie doesn't make any sense!". And of course this applies to all the Emmerich Disasterpieces. But now I have learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb. Just accept that Logic is optional, and go with the flow.

I am totally seeing this. The CG is creative and the movie looks very exciting. A lot you guys complain about nothing. If you can make something better, shut up and do so.

Roland Emmerich is going to be one of those guys that, in thirty years, people will be doing documentaries about. Not because he was good, but because he was just so damn persistent.

I was talking to one my roommates today and he was sayin how he really wants to see this now after seeing that last night...to which he proceeded to say "I just hope its nothing like The fucking Day After Tomorrow". I didn't have the heart to tell him it was made by the same idiot.

A limo with super manuevering capabilities? Oh and a plane that flies between two buildings coliding into each other and isn't struck by debris?

That was painfully funny. Emmerich's films are god awful yet I couldn't stop smiling at how bad that clip was. Maybe that's why he keeps doing them!

Wow, a frenetic over-the-top action scene where you can actually see what is happening and isn't edited to shit! It might be CG-bullshit, but the guy certainly has an eye for creating exciting visuals! But $10? Nah...

Heavy handed political message + jabs at society + sub par CGI + stupid humor = cliched disaster movie.

you know what maybe its the the little kid inside of me but these types of movies are my guilty pleasures, i enjoy they for the pure and utter silly nature that they are so maybe thats why i like these movies but hey ill be there opening day having fun with this movie

People need to start taking these movies for what they are . . . ENTERTAINMENT! We all know that a Roland Emmerich movie is going to be over the top, world ending, aliens attacking and more importantly lone goof ball saving the world at the end. so sit back and enjoy the ride because yo ass is gunna be saved! LOL

Oh look....
...Emmerich dropped another steaming, stinky, flaming pile o' $hit on the movie-going public.

I'm going to have to start hating Stargate on principle because me really liking that movie and triple dipping on the DVD, the extended cut DVD, and BluRay gave Emmerich license to start dumping crap on me.
