Tom Jane's directorial debut DARK COUNTRY hits DVD tomorrow and to get everyone excited, we're thrilled to debut the first five minutes of the film! Sometimes the first few minutes of a film can be a long and boring set up but Jane doesn't waste any time getting right into the heart of the story.

For those who aren't all that aware of the story, it goes like this: Two honeymooners rescue a mysterious car crash survivor in the Las Vegas desert. But their decision to save the man becomes increasingly regrettable when he turns on them, forcing the newlyweds to do the unthinkable. In a blur of paranormal chaos, the couple must take drastic measures to cover up their actions from the local police, ultimately leading each character to an inescapable fate.

In addition to directing, Jane co-stars along with Lauren German and Ron Perlman. It's a really fun flick and one you should definitely check out tomorrow. For now, feast your eyes on the first five minutes of DARK COUNTRY!

have seen it
I really like thomas jane but did not like this movie very much. Sure it gives you that nasty twilight zone feeling and tension but it was very predictable. I already knew what was going on and what was going to happen in about 15 minutes, and i found the cgi very distracting. But i am very curious with what he comes up next. Btw, Saw somewhere that he would be a good choice as the new

highlander and i must agree he would be the perfect choice(the looks, his presence, acting.)

Looking forward to seeing this, and also is it me or does Tom Jane remind anyone of Harrison Ford a little bit in that scene?

Awesome flick!
Saw it this past weekend at the Long Beach Comic Con in 3D! It was a good film for a first time director. Very film noir. Its got that twilight zone feel. Tom Jane is f'n man! He informed us that the Standard DVD will not be in 3D but he hopes when the BluRay comes out it will contain the 3D version! Either way you see it, its good!
